Our new exhibit, New Mexico's Civil War, introduces the casual viewer to the story of the Civil War in New Mexico, the New Mexico Campaign, as well as the major players, events, forts, battles, and so on.
This interactive touch-screen display allows visitors to learn at their own pace as well as focus on their specific interests: soldiers, slavery, battles, etc. This display allows for multi-user interactions with the display, customizing their experience.
It is our intent to host a larger opening with speakers, programming, etc., once restrictions ease further.
