P.O.W. Christmas Card Collection

Mrs. Laura Greene continuously held out hope that her Son Henry P. Latham would be returned to her safely. She wrote him often, and sometimes received replies, His replies held no sentiment or the characteristic mannerisms of Henry, giving her the forgone conclusion that his replies were most likely written by his imprisoners. Doubt in these cases made its appearance in her heart, but she pushed it away and held on to hope that her Son would one day be free. These are a collection of Christmas and Holiday greeting cards that she sent, hoping against it all that he would receive them. He did and held on to them throughout his internment. Henry P.
